Antigone firmware 1.1.3 released — FM revamp

Eight new 4-operator FM algorithms with on-screen diagrams, four operator modes (TZFM Lin1/2, Lin, Exp), dual A/B outputs, stepped or free ratios, FM antialiasing, and a dedicated macro control page.

Wishing everyone a musically fruitful year ahead. To kick things off, this firmware focuses on enhancing FM synthesis capabilities.

Backward compatibility has been preserved as much as possible, but on FM algorithms the sound may not be identical in 100% of cases — please re-audition your FM-heavy presets after updating.

What's new

FM

  • 8 new FM algorithms, each with 4 operators.
  • A new on-screen visualisation displaying the algorithm diagram.
  • 4 modes for each operator: TZFM Lin1, TZFM Lin2, Lin, Exp.
  • Each algorithm has 2 mixable outputs (A/B).
  • Ratio parameters can now be configured as "stepped" (increments of 0.25) or freely adjustable.
  • Added antialiasing for FM algorithms.

Macros

  • A dedicated macro control page has been added for greater convenience.
